WHAT IS A-TRAIN’S SUPER FIT?
At A-Train’s Super Fit, our mission is to positively impact, inspire, and improve women’s lives through fitness. We have come together to create a community, a family, where each client feels comfortable and supported. We are a women’s only gym where you will find real women working hard, together, to push each other to be their best. We use barbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and jump ropes as some of our tools of choice. Our programs are designed specifically for women with our member’s goals in mind.
*I’M A BEGINNER, CAN I HANDLE THE CLASS AT A-TRAIN’S SUPER FIT?
YES! It is the best place for you to start! Our classes are designed for women of all ages and fitness levels, from beginner to the advanced athlete. We are able to modify and adapt everything we do for each individual and meet you where you are at. We also keep our classes small so that each member gets the individual attention she deserves.
WHY A WOMEN’S ONLY STUDIO?
Most women feel very intimidated and uncomfortable in an environment where they are unsure of the machines. The machines look scary and they don’t know how to use them so they either end up never going, or making a bee line to the treadmill or elliptical machines and never see results. At A-Train’s Super Fit, our clients walk in to someone greeting them by name then they are pushed to achieve their goals in a class filled with their friends. They never feel like they have to “get dressed” just to go to the gym. They always feel supported and comfortable while they get leaner, stronger, and fitter.
I SEE YOU DON’T HAVE “REGULAR” GYM EQUIPMENT, HOW DO YOU TRAIN YOUR MEMBERS?
A-Train’s Super Fit is not a regular gym, we do not have traditional gym equipment and you won’t find our members standing around doing bicep curls and working at a conversational pace. We train the full body functionally. This means that we use movements that closely mimic the natural movements we do in everyday life. Basically we do the stuff that the body was designed to do. These movements use multiple muscle groups together and are beneficial to everyone, from helping the elderly function better in day to day life to helping the athlete have better balance, coordination, speed, agility, and power. They improve core strength, help to prevent injury, and the body responds quickly to them!
